Regional Sales Manager

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and initiate a plan of engagement to secure long term relationship with our existing users in the Bowen basin and greater North QLD regions.
• Provide a high level of value added service to the existing customer base
• Actively manage spares inventory usage and supply records
• Co-ordinate services and audits within our customers
• Forecast spares and services revenue by customer
• Engage with consultancy and engineering firms related to Coal mining in North Queensland.
• identify opportunities for sales of new equipment in the region
• Provide accurate and timely quotations for equipment, spares and services in the region
• Deliver accurate pipeline and forecast for new business in the region
• Provide monthly activity reports on objectives and goals
• Continually develop a professional approach to sales
• Liaise internally with Services and Spares co-ordinators

Key Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience in capital equipment / services sales
- Excellent computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise
- Ability to work autonomously
- Prefer experience in Mining, capital equipment or aggregate /industrial equipment
- Proven success in managing sales region
- Experience to be trained in the following disciplines
A) Business to Business sales
B) Value based selling
C) CRM applications
D) Time management
E) Key account management
