Sales Representative - Mining Industry exp essential
Programmed Integrated Workforce is a proactive industry leader in the provision of managed labour, labour hire and staffing solutions.

Unique in their field, manufactures & supplies a range of technologically advanced products designed to assist with the removal, installation and handling of components on mining and heavy earthmoving vehicles.

Due to continuous growth they are now in need of a Sales Representative to provide support to current clients and assist if further expansion and growth of this clients specialised product. Designated Territory will include NSW, VIC & TAS - primary base being in the Hunter Valley.

Duties will include:

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular customers - oversee installation of equipment and provide training onsite in the use of equipment
  • Provide ongoing technical assistance to customers
  • Maintain a call cycle for regular and prospective clients to solicit orders
  • Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
  • Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained
  • Prepare regular sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed expansion

To succeed in this position you will need:

  • Previous experience as a sales rep / account manager ideally in the mining / heavy machinery industries
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships with customers
  • A positive attitude and genuine desire and passion for sales
  • Previous proven ability in growing your account while maintaining integrity and delivering exceptional customer service
