As category manager you will be responsible for the performance of your business unit across over 200 retail outlets. Through product selection, negotiation, communication and commitment you will deliver results and support business objectives.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

Strong understanding of category management principles and experience as a category manager for a major retail business unit
Fostered mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers leading to long term partnerships
A proven track record in identifying new opportunities and sourcing suppliers and products in Australia and overseas
Ranged, priced and promoted product with commercial outcomes
Outstanding negotiation, financial and communication skills
Developed strategy and tactics to drive sales and margin
A collaborative style and high motivation to deliver results
