Our client, a successful privately owned business, is a leading pharmaceutical company with award winning products that are distributed on a national and global scale.
Due to a planned restructure, an afternoon shift supervisor position is available in the manufacturing team. This position is aimed at applicants who wish to continue a stable and rewarding career in manufacturing.
The Position
• The autonomous coordinating of all operations of the manufacturing plant during afternoon shift
• Provide operational guidance with regards to continuous improvement of production efficiencies, equipment maintenance and processes.
• Ensure compliance to all SOP’s including quality and industry guidelines
• Monitor, encourage and develop excellent performance of personnel
• Key performance indicators are not only being met but exceeded.

The Person
• Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar position
• A background from food, FMCG, Pharmaceutical high volume manufacturing environment
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Strong analytical, organisational and activity skills
• Sound reporting and computer skills
