Production Planner

You will:

- Be responsible for managing the repair and overhaul of equipment at minimal cost and delivering the projects on time and within budget.

- Coordinate the work of sub-contractors, ensuring work that is outsourced is performed within the contractual agreement

- Apply , use and improve quality management systems

- Maintain sales forecasts and apply them to production schedules

- Maintain records of production levels and monitor and improve processes, ensuring you achieve all project requirements according to contractual agreements.

You'll need five years trade experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry environment coupled with experience or exposure to production planning. You'll require skills in project management, heavy engineering, estimating, reporting, quality management systems, EHS, cost control, sourcing / pricing materials, negotiation and organisation skills.

Computer literacy is important, and experience in SAP and MS Project is advantageous.
