About the company As a result of company restructuring a fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Case Workers Compensation Manager. You could be working for a company that has been operating for several years and as a result has built a valued relationship of trust with the community. This is a unique company among the insurance industry as it exists not to make a profit, but to protect the interests of the community.
Job Description Working in a small dynamic workers compensation team, in a newly created workers compensation role, you will be responsible for managing the case management for all claims. This will include 360 degree management for a portfolio of workers compensation claims, including setting strategies and achieving deadlines. You will also undergo negotiation with appropriate settlements and conciliation agreements to finalise claims as well as instructing solicitors where required. You will not only ensure the company meets its legal and regulatory obligations but you will also assist the manager with day to day activities of the team.
Experience Extensive experience (3-7 years) managing workers compensation claims is vital. Experience at an insurance company is preferable but not essential.
Remuneration range Between $68000 to $73000 pa. package depending on experience.
