This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Life Insurance Underwriter to work for a leading brand with a strong presence in the Australian Market place. Due to growth they are currently looking for a SeniorUnderwriter to join the team.
Your role will include but not be limited to the following:

Underwriting of all risk products
-
Maintaining various portfolios and relationships
-
Mentoring and providing direction to junior underwriters
-
Assessing and accepting of risks with agreed levels of authority

Authorizing underwriting decisions
-
Building key relationships
To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:
-
Substantial Life Underwriting experience within Australia
-
Experience of retail and / or Group Life policies
-
Strong Analytical skills
-
Ability to relay and explain decisions to Advisers
-
Relationship management and development skills
-
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
