We are currently recruiting for an Insurance Specialist Commercial Insurance to join our team. This position is responsible for providing inbound and outbound phone based sales, service and underwriting support to QBEs Business Partners and their clients. The incumbent will be required to act within QBEs company standards to ensure that the customers service needs are met and assist the business unit in developing a profitable commercial insurance portfolio.
Key responsibilities of this role:
* Focus and commitment to achievement of Service Level Agreements.
* Ability to provide efficient, timely and professional sales, service and underwriting support to our business partners and their clients within the allocated delegated authority.
* Proven demonstration of delivering a high quality customer.
* Experience to internal and external customers.
* Proven ability to achieve set new business sales and cross-selling targets.
* Quality underwriting within QBE limitations and delegated authority levels.
* Accept or reject risks or alterations within company guidelines and standards.
* Demonstrated delivery of service provision to inbound and outbound sales and service related telephony enquiries.
Key skills and experience for this role:
* Customer service / sales experience.
* Experience in the insurance industry
* Ability to work toward set targets.
* Excellent verbal communication ability.
* Sound computer skills with basic ability in word and excel You must be able to demonstrate excellent skills in general office.
* Administration, time management, attention to detail and customer service.
This role will involve dealing with inbound and outbound sales and service calls from our commercial customers and business partners, providing quality customer service, professionalism and delivering high results to QBE.
If you are able to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with QBEs customers, then we would like to hear from you. Ideally, you should possess strong sales skills and demonstrate a professional and confident phone manner. Experience in Financial Institutions or a Call Centre Environment would be an advantage.
