The ACT's most established and high profile government department is looking to appoint a number of experienced Senior Java Developers to become an integral member of a multi disciplinary team in a rapidly changing project environment.

The Senior Java Developers will be responsible for the design, programming and testing of complex business specifications; the successful candidates will make a positive contribution to team decision making on design issues and share knowledge with fellow team members.

To be successful you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• At least 5 years of solid Java/J2EE development experience
• Proven development experience with the following; JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, EJB, webservices, WebSphere
• Experience within government agencies with be highly desirable BUT not essential
• Strong communications and interpretation skills
• Ability to work within a team and work autonomously
