As a ICT Procurement & Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible to undertake procurement and contract development processes to support the organisation ICT program of work and existing ICT arrangements. The specialists will be part of the Strategic Contracts Team within Corporate Support Group.
Your Responsibilities
- Undertake procurement processes to establish GITC contracts
- Review existing arrangements and recommend improvements
- Provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders in relation to acquisition, tender evaluation and contract management strategies
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and processes
- Liaise with legal advisors on contractual issues and ensure probity issues are managed in a professional and proactive manner
Your Skills
- Demonstrated skills and experience with ICT Contracts preferably GITC v5.02
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking ICT procurement processes in a commercial environment including ability to deliver value, and mitigate risks and achieve savings
- Demonstrated experience in applying procurement knowledge (to procurement processes) in the review, editing and development of documents including experience in authoring acquisition strategy plans (significant procurement plans), tender documents, evaluation plans, probity plans, contracts (preferably GITC) and contract management plans
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from the business, translate those requirements into a procurement (EOI/RFT/RFQ/RFO) and contractual framework and negotiate those consolidated terms with vendors
