Our client, based in Sydney CBD requires an Entry Level Systems Administrator with Linuxexperience.
To be a successful applicant in this role you will preferably have a background in hosting and VPS infrastructure environment. Our client is a market leader in the industry and is looking for the right candidate who has the drive to succeed in a vibrant and funky office environment.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Supporting the dynamic and fast paced office environment.
- End-to-End support of VPS based customers.
- Participating in an on-call roster.
- Assisting the service desk with incident management (fault isolation and workaround identification and implementation)
This role offers exposure to a large range of cutting-edge technologies including VMware, Xen, Juniper/Cisco, Debian/Redhat Linux/Windows 2008 and Cpanel.
Your skillset will include:
- Minimum of 2 years commercial IT experience.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
- Linux & Windows Operating System proficiency.
- Knowledge of hosting technologies including, Cpanel, Apache, IIS.
- Knowledge of database technologies including, MySQL, MSSQL.
- Knowledge of electronic mail technologies exim, postfix, etc
