This is an exciting opportunity for a DataStage Developer to join a high profile project in Melbourne on an initial 6 months contract that is to start in immediately and has a strong possibility of extension for a longer duration.

The primary responsibilities may include:
•Designing, developing and supporting solutions using Datastage.
•Configuring the Data stage jobs to run in parallelism (multi nodes) and modify the ETL jobs to match Oracle database partitioning and parameter tuning.
•Modify the SQLs in ETL jobs to improve job runtime.

The ideal candidate will have:
•Strong knowledge on Data Stage (v8) ETL tool, SQL and PL/SQL Scripting and Unix
•Excellent DataStage experience (Quality Stage, Profile Stage, Metadata Workbench desirable)
•Proficient in performance tuning of Data Stage ETL jobs
•Understanding of change management processes
Utilities experience will be highly regarded
