Business Analyst - Peoplesoft -

Upgrade/conversion program. A leader in their field with a reputation for recruiting the very best talent in the Sydney market is recruiting a BA to join their team on a permanent basis. Working within this highly motivated team, your remit will be to lead the requirements gathering and business case development for a large scale Peoplesoft upgrade. You will work with the Project Manager through the scoping, design and implementation phases.

The successful candidate will have:-

• Confidence conducting requirements analysis with business stakeholders
• Experience with large scale ERP IT projects in Peoplesoft gained in either Telco, Banking, Media or similar large complex environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills - high level documentation skills, communications, business requirements gathering/business case development and presentation material
• Prior experience working on multiple projects in Business and IT areas - similar upgrade projects will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated business process analysis and technical understanding of ERP systems/Peoplesoft including Accounting, CRM, HR, Payroll etc. Preferably Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to work closely with all levels of staff within an organization including developers, testers, PM's, business stakeholders, SME's to through to end users of the system.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and fostering of a culture where high performance, quality and service are valued
• Proven ability to apply business analysis skills to large technology initiatives
• Moderate to advanced SQL skills, along with an understanding of accounting data and its behaviours
• Experience working with Agile/Iterative methodologies
• Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but are not essential. Exposure to accounting principles and processes will also be of benefit.
