This popular restaurant and function centre in the Daylesford area has recently received excellent reviews and they are looking for an accomplished Sous Chef / Senior Chef de Partie to join the team. If you are looking for the country lifestyle combined with the opportunity to cook high quality food this is what you have been waiting for! Serving Modern Australian cuisine and catering for weddings and other functions the successful Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef with the daily operation of the kitchen. To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills and attributes: - Completion of a Commercial Cookery qualification
- 2 - 3 year's experience as a chef gained in an upmarket environment
- Experience catering for functions
- The ability to work cooperatively in a small kitchen team
- Experience in creating and developing menus
- Enthusiasm and motivation to excel in the culinary profession
This role would suit an experience Sous Chef looking for a tree change or Senior Chef de Partie who has had exposure to stock management and wastage control to take the next step in their career.
