This venue is considered to be one of Australia's best conference centres, offering its corporate clients excellent food, impeccable service and modern facilities and they are now searching for a Sous Chef to join the team. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished chef with experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or hotel environment and be looking for their next rewarding job opportunity. In return for your skills and experience you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package, time off over the Christmas and New Year Period plus car parking and uniform both supplied. To be considered for this role you must have: - A minimum of 2 - 3 years previous experience
- A background in 4 & 5 Star Hotels/upmarket environment
- Knowledge of stock and labour control
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Hands on management style
- Experience with menu design and costs
- A preference for a friendly and safe working environment
