We are now seeking an experienced Pastry Chef for this busy venue in Melbourne's East. This venue is an award winning buffet with a reputation for serving quality food at an affordable price and this is your opportunity to join the team. Reporting to the Head Chef the successful candidate will be required to manage the pastry section, work autonomously and consistently produce a high number of pastries and desserts. This position would suit an experienced Pastry Chef with experience in a high volume patisserie environment. Experience in a Pastry chef role leading a team Pastry Chef experience within a Restaurant environment Proficiency in all aspects of Pastry production A proven ability to remain consistent in a high volume venue Knowledge of kitchen Hygiene practices and HACCP regulations A proven ability to work effectively within a team Your skills and experience will be rewarded with an excellent salary, great working hours and the responsibility of looking after the pastry section.
