This popular function centre located in the South Western suburbs is seeking a Head Chef to manage the kitchen operations. This venue is heading into its busy season and now is a great time to jump on board! It is essential that the suitable candidate will be self motivated as you will be working in the kitchen autonomously along with several kitchen hands/cooks available on service nights. You will have experience within a high volume catering environment and also have a proven ability to manage all costs. To be considered for this role you must possess the following skills and experience: - Previous experience in a Head/Sous Chef position
- At least 3 year's experience in a high volume/catering environment
- Effective preparation and organisational skills
- An ability to lead a team and delegate
- Experience designing and costing menus
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
