Kinetic Defence Services is Australia's Leading Supplier of recruitment solutions to the Defence and Aerospace Sectors. As a partner with leading organisations across this sector, we are seeking a Programs Manager to be based in Melbourne.

The key focus of this position is the leadership and management of a highly motivated and dynamic team of Engineers. The successful applicant will join the Senior Management Team, providing strategic leadership and advice on all engineering and capability issues. This is a new role in an expanding organisation with a focus on delivery.

Experience Required:

Ideally a degree in an engineering field
Significant Defence procurement experience
Industrial Relations Laws experience and knowledge
Broad engineering experience base within Defence Industry
Must have Multi-site management experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong leadership and management abilities
Business/budgetary experience in a role with small business or an appointment with P&L responsibilities
Applicant MUST be eligible for a Defence security clearance (Australian Citizen)

This position would ideally suit applicants with a Defence engineering background with extensive experience in demanding leadership and management appointments. Programs Managers with a high level of experience, natural leadership style and able of getting the best out of people are encouraged to apply.
