A Mid Tier consultancy company based in Brisbane providing mining engineering skills to the COAL mining industry in open cut and underground. We are seeking a motivated Mining Engineer to join our team of highly skilled professionals. The position represents an opportunity to be part of a tight team of engineers.

You will be well rewarded with an exceptionally generous base salary, plus a substantial bonuses structure. This Role will also include Flexible hours, Overseas working opportunities such as Mexico, Chile and the Philippines.

Required Skills:
Appropriate tertiary qualification as a Mining Engineer
Minimum of 3- 5 years experience in mining preferably on site
Open cut or Underground Coal, experience a must.
Minimum 3-5 years previous strong experience with Vulcan and or Minescape
Strong knowledge in Mine Planning, Truck and Shovel Planning and Dump Planning would be advantageous.
Willing and able to travel within Australia mostly QLD
A high level of motivation and initiative
Well developed interpersonal skills
A High level of computer literacy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team player with excellent client focus
Strong problem solving skills
Needs to be patient and able to cope with deadlines and pressure during busy times
