An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Manager to join their team at the Brisbane site (south – west location). The primary purpose of this role is to manage and control the State field service, workshop and parts operations, and to grow revenue whilst managing a medium sized team. As the Service Manager, your mandate will include; ensuring the on – going efficiency of after – sales service, whilst achieving budget and profit objectives. Key areas of focus include; - Implement, recommend and enforce corporate policies and procedures - Drive business performance by developing and leading creative and effective sales development activities, grow profitable new business and retain and develop existing business; - Develop, mentor and coach employees, resulting in an engaged team culture. - Prepare and maintain an annual service budget / forecast to ensure the profitability and growth of the organisation - Analyse and deliver monthly reports for the distribution to the client, branch and corporate management With previous management experience, coupled with relevant qualifications within Management or Financial Awareness or Engineering; you will be required to demonstrate strong commercial understanding, have sound business acumen and have previous people management skills. Specialist knowledge in the areas of Capital equipment and / or Engineering will be highly advantageous.
