They are a design consultancy that specialise in engineering, project management and infrastructure consulting. Their operations include a range of civil engineering markets such as Transport, Property, Land Development, Environment and Energy. Their experience in rail includes permanent way, design management and overhead wiring. They have recently won a major rail tender in Victoria and require a number of people to join their large rail team. Therefore there is a new opportunity for a Senior Electrification Engineer - Overhead Wiring to join their growing Melbourne team.
In this role you will be a key member of the rail team, providing a range of OHW consultancy services to clients. The key responsibilities of the role include: - Developing alignment options
- Feasibility and concept design
- Detailed design and documentation
- Procurement advice
- Developing and maintaining the team's OHW capability
- Contributing to, developing and maintaining technical standards and procedures for the OHW team
- Assisting with business development and tendering
To be successful in this role you need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 7 - 12 years experience in OHW design
- Experience in developing OHW capability, as well as providing technical leadership and mentoring
- Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
