Our client is a well respected organization with a goal of making a positive impact on the environment in which they operate. We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic procurement team in Sydney.
This exciting role reports to the Supply Manager- Equipment. Coming from a Utilities or Mining background, you will be responsible for procurement plans, specifications, RFQ's and evaluations on substations, mains underground or mains overhead and voltage regulating equipment in addition to streetlighting.
Key skills required:
- A 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge in contract administration, tender reviewing and project management skills
- Strong communication skills, both in report writing and interpersonally and the ability to deal successfully with internal/external customers.
- Ability to investigate and resolve supply issues with vendors.
- Knowledge in inventory management and experience in the use in SAP.
