Our client is a provider of speciality chemicals, industrial gases and other products including propellants and solvents for industries operating in the Refrigeration, Insulation, Solvent and Medical Sectors. Due to growth, development and ongoing project work, there is currently a requirement for an Electrical Engineer to join the team and become a part of this stable and reputable organisation.

This position will see the successful applicant reporting directly to the Engineering Projects & Maintenance Manager, and will involve the delivery of electrical engineering tasks on allocated projects & technical support of site operations.

You will be required to provide expertise in the following areas:

• Perform assignments requiring knowledge of electrical engineering principles 
• Project work (design through to commissioning)
• PLC programming (Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLC and Panel-View Programming)
• Provide technical support to site operations issues
• Ability to create drawings (AutoCAD preferable) and electrical specifications

The successful candidate will be a tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer with 2-5 years experience in electrical engineering & PLC programming. Some experience within an industrial environment is highly desirable although not essential. You will be required to display your developed interpersonal and communication skills with along with sound problem solving abilities in order to be successful in your application.
