Primary Functions

CAD Drafting of various civil engineering projects to meet the requirements of the supervising Project Engineer and/or Technical Officer; 
Ability to prepare drawings for all aspects of civil engineering including but not limited to earthworks, roadworks, stormwater drainage, sewerage reticulation and water reticulation; 
General design office duties; 
Preparation and maintenance of document control; and 
Maintaining industry awareness. 

Qualifications 

Tertiary qualifications in CAD Drafting and/or Civil Engineering would be an advantage but not essential. 

Specific Skills and Experience

Minimum 2 years experience in CAD drafting of civil engineering projects; 
Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and MS Office software packages; 
Knowledge and experience with 12D would be a significant advantage but not essential; and 
Knowledge and understanding of the Qld Dept of Main Roads, VIC Roads, RTA, and other local authority design guidelines would be an advantage.
