This highly influential role is a key appointment within the divisional Head Office finance team and is regarded as pivotal to the ongoing success of the business. You will be expected to engage collaboratively with senior executives and their teams, using your intellect and influencing skills to partner with decision makers and shape a broad range of commercial and strategic outcomes. You will have access to a broad range of subject matter experts across Finance, Sales, Marketing and Product Development and will use your insightful analytical and investigative skills to add clarity and insight to business performance improvement initiatives. In this regard you will have a mandate to identify and develop opportunities which directly influence business performance outcomes and profitability. Furthermore, as a key member of the finance group, you will also drive the annual budget and forecasting process for your segment and will be expected to play a leadership role in the ongoing development of a high performing and value added team culture. This role is likely to appeal to a talented, achievement oriented and highly numerate finance professional who is now seeking a career-shaping role in a global business which can genuinely offer global careers. Your background might be in a similar role in industry or an advisory role in a Big4 or a top tier management consulting firm. Your strong analytical skills will be complemented by your demonstrated prior experience in reporting and influencing business performance outcomes in a profit-driven commercial environment (retail/ FMCG would be preferable but is not essential).The successful applicant will be able to add true depth to their finance thought leadership skills and your success in this role will help to build a strong platform for the next step in your finance career.
