Fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic national organisation operating within the Environmental Services industry.
With the realisation of rapid growth and ongoing commitment to best practice standards, our client is seeking to appoint a National Quality, Safety & Environment Manager (QSE) to be based from their Sydney offices.
Reporting to the General Manager - Corporate Services, this role will be responsible for reviewing, developing, implementing, auditing and using Continuous Improvement Principles to improve systems across all of the Australian operations.
Managing a team of State QSE Managers, Auditors and Administrators your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor, review & report on QSE plans, policies and procedures.
- Monitor, review & report on contract processes and performance against set targets & objectives.
- Communicate an awareness of the consequences and accountability that may arise from QSE issues & actions.
- Ensure compliance with the current Occupational Health and Safety, Workers Compensation, Environmental and Quality legislation and Standards.
- Verifying by audit improvements required resulting from internal audits / external audits have been made and that the data, service & procedure are compliant.
- Developing and implementing occupational health, safety, and environment procedures based on approved company policies.
- Report any observed Safety & Environmental hazards including all incidents and near misses.
- Uphold and communicate company ethics and policies.
- Give guidance to the development of required system documentation.
- Be accountable for the continual improve system within the scope of the companies Management system.
- Developing and implementing culture change initiatives.
- Initiating and coordinating accredited training programs.
To be considered for this role you will have 5+ years in a similar role as well as being a highly self-motivated, results-orientated professional who will relish the opportunity to collaborate with the senior management team to deliver exceptional Quality, Safety and Environment outcomes for the business. It is also a requirement that interested parties be a qualified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor – RABQSA or similar.
An attractive salary package of between $120K to $140K will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
