Candidates must possess strong scheduling, planning, problem solving, time management, multi-tasking, and subcontractor technical leadership skills. Capable of communicating with architects, engineers, managers, subcontractors, foreman, and field employees.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years civil site experience (preferably with a main contractor) in a similar role and possess the ability to motivate a team of operatives and sub contractors. A quality driven, self starter will be required in order to be successful in this role.

Typical functions will include, but will not be limited to: Supervise all construction activities, including the best method of construction, manpower levels, and equipment utilisation.

Maintain with project management team to ensure work complies with the drawings, specifications, and schedule.

Resolve construction problems as required. Monitor company OH&S safety requirements, documents, and ensure corrective measures are implemented.

The company will provide you with excellent training and you will get to work on some of the most prestigious projects around Newcastle, Hunter Valley and the Central Coast from inception to completion.
