This iconic Australian brand is undertaking an exciting business wide transformation and with “C” level support are realigning their procurement objectives to meet the needs of the business for the next generation. Procurement projects include leading edge business initiatives, innovation and change management, strategic planning and commercial management.
A pivotal part of achieving these renewed goals is through the creation of a Business Analyst role to support on key procurement projects. Reporting to the Procurement Manager for special projects and systems; your superb analytical, excel and data modelling skills will see you called upon to work on key procurement projects alongside Category Leads within the procurement department. You will be an individual who revels in a role that is ‘all things numbers’ and enjoy the opportunity this role gives you to interact with senior management. In time, you will have the gumption to propose ideas as to how best this role can add value to the procurement team at large.
Your day to day activity can see you analysing a diverse range of data including spend analysis, quote analysis, market information, consumer insight information and financial statistics.
You will be reporting to an extremely supportive manager who has a clear vision to develop the right person within the business – you will be joining a team of 50 strong procurement professionals.
In order to be considered for this role, you must meet the following:
- Between 2 - 5 years in a Business/Finance/Procurement Analyst role where you are able to prove your ability to identify areas for cost saving or positive change.
- You will be a confident and persuasive communicator who enjoys dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
- You will like the challenge of working within a fast-paced environment and enjoy managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- You will have advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills and some understanding of SAP is highly desirable.
