Duties and responsibilities range from:

• Processing of Monthly payroll runs
• Reporting on a monthly basis
• High volume end to end payroll including hiring, terminations and redundancies
• Payroll of up to 1,500 employees
• Working with very strict payroll deadlines and targets
• Customer service on all payroll related queries

The experience that would make you stand out from the crowd is:

• Managed a payroll run for more than 1,000 people
• Quick and accurate data entry skills, numeric or alphanumeric
• Working knowledge of laws, legislations and EBA's surrounding Payroll within Australia
• Experience running monthly payroll in high volume environments
• Ability to work very well under pressure and adhering to strict payroll deadlines
• Peoplesoft system exposure would be highly regarded but not needed
