An urgent requirement for a 2 day per week Accounts position has arisen at a prestigious Building Services Consultancy in Southbank.  The organisation has a strong focus on environmentally sustainable design and their project portfolio includes educational, laboratory, institutional and high rise building projects for both private and public clients.   

Working in a busy environment and supporting the Financial Controller and Project Manager, you will have a range of accounting responsibilities.  You will need to take ownership of these tasks and demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach to your work.

Main responsibilities will include:
  • Chasing debtors and overdue accounts, and report on such
  • Invoice customers on a timely basis
  • Filing
  • Manage petty cash
  • Reporting as requested by management
  • Reconciliations
  • Reception relief
Essential Skills and attributes:
  • Strong MYOB, Excel and Word skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Be able to work autonomously and manage workload
  • Responsible and mature attitude
  • Manage multiple deadlines and juggle tasks in a busy environment
